An international short-film series fusing literature, great writing and dynamic films. Each episode is hosted by downtown poet and personality Bob Holman who introduces the films and interviews acclaimed writers and poets providing insight into the movies often the films are based on their literary work. Many of the films have been screened at major films festivals including Sundance, Cannes, and Berlin.

DEEP DEUCE is a film noir poetic tale that delves into the darker side of Hollywood. Film is by B. Kite and David Phelps. Features an interview with National Book Critics Circle Award winner and New School Writing program director Robert Polito.

YOUNG DAVID by Avi Dabach places Yehuda Amichai¹s poem in the center of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Features an interview with National Book Critics Circle Award winner and Guggenheim Foundation president Edward Hirsch.
